I think he was standing up at about 7. But got like an extra 10 seconds of rest while the piece of **** ref was yelling at andrade combined with the continuation of the count.

The time never stopped when this was happening. Even if he was up at 7 and continued he would have gotted ktfo a few seconds later

Going by the youtube vid Bute was down about 12 seconds (0:31-0:43) although the referee's count is usually not 10 real seconds.

It seems like he gets up at 8, but the way the ref handled it makes it look shady. Plus since he was from Montreal you've got to wonder a little. Plus a different ref might have stopped that. Bute was pretty much out.

By the time he was down and get up, bute took about 8 or 9 seconds. The extra 16 seconds is not the issue because bute already got up before the ten count. But I dont know the rules of that fight. Was there a no standing after 8 count?
