    Juan Diaz is amazing

I have just watched the fight with Juan Diaz defending the WBA title. Diaz is an intelligent person and fighter, a college student, and already a World Champion at just 21!

I have really enjoyed watching this match and his previous matches, and look forward to many more of his fights.

Yeah for only being 21 his poise in the ring is great, he has hung in there and outworked two hard nosed guys in a row.

I'd like to see him go against Julio Diaz in the future

yeah i watched that fight too. he seems to be heading in the right direction in and outside the ring. he seems to be as good of person as he is a boxer. its refreshing to see that and whats also so good about his is that he is so young. i hope to see him for many more years to come.

This was a very good fight. I think Teddy Atlas was giving Lorcey more credit than he did Diaz for some reason. I had it 118-110. There were close rounds for the first 2:30 but I thought Diaz pulled the rounds out in the end.

yes i think a julio diaz fight would be very entertaining, juan would probably be the underdog however so maybe he wants to avoid that match in the immediate future

He needs to be a little more effective with his punches it seemed to me. And his conditioning ( and the way his body looked) actually seemed not as good as last time when he fought lakva sim. And his body definitely looked like it could loose a few pounds then.

Juan Diaz is good, but will never be at the top because he doesn't have much pop behind his punches. He just needs to not rush in to it with fighters the caliber of Julio.

I like this kid, impressive win...now I look forward to see him facing off with Julio. There can be only one Diaz! I also enjoyed watching his 1st world championship fight with Lakva Sim.

The kid is a really good fighter, but his complete lack of power is going to keep him from being one of the best in the world.

                    He's not a slickster....he's a volume puncher....with good speed.
He's gonna find himself getting caught during an exchange against a better, tougher, harder-hitting foe.
His lack of power forces him to throw & throw & throw....which increases his foes' opportunities.
That lack of pop also lets his foes hang in through fights they should be completely out of....

The kid would be knocked out by Castillo or Corrales.
