YOURE EMBARRASING YOURSELF BY THINKING HE WASNT KO'ed and shouldnt have been able to continue, even if he got up....
The Announcer's are embarrassing themselves

the whole point of the 8 count is to ensure the fighter wont recieve more punishment if he can't defend himself, there was no time remaining, therefore there is no chance of more punishment, all he has to do is get up which he did, Bute winsComment

Bolded, underlined and resized for everyone to understand what went on....You can NOT be saved by the bell at the end of the final round...he could not go on, Andrade did not leave his corner, this was a Class S Robbery
Even the count itself was off, Bute got up at 8...the ref starts the count initially for a split second at 4-5...this was hometown cooking, Bute needs to man up and rematchComment

Did the ref disrupt Andrade's flow?.I'd not disagree with that one bit.
But the announcer's saying he had a 24 count and all sorts of moronic things. He was up within 10 seconds and the round was already over within 2 seconds of being down, so there was no more fighting.

That is NOT the point...we KNOW it was the end of the final round, but the rules states you can NOT be saved at the end of the final round
Which means
If a situation like this occurs with a 12th round knockdown in the final seconds, and the fighter does indeed get up, but can not continue assuming there was time left in the round/fight where further punishment could be inflicted...the fight is OVER
U may not like that rule, but it IS the rule.....Comment

If the referee had played it straight the finish wouldn't have been nearly as controversial, no matter who won. Bute clearly beat the ten count. The question is how much time was remaining, and if he could have responded satisfactorily to the ref. But using a Montreal referee makes this whole thing stink like hometown officiating.

By the way... This is one fight I DIDN'T have money on (had money only on the over).
If the ref had called TKO I would of been happy as hell for Andrade. What an awesome upset. But he didn't and the announcer's were making a big deal about the count and the time...it meant NOTHING, because the clock was finished within 2 seconds of Bute being down and he got up within 10 seconds...
All the other stuff... The ref disrupting Andrade's flow.... It's certain, and maybe the announcer's should of concentrated on something other than the time issue for 20 ****ing minutes. It had nothing to do with it.Comment

I'm with you on the hometown disruption of flow there at the end...Certainly with a different ref it could of easily been Andrade's night.
Wish Andrade had did what he did 1 or 2 rounds earlier, I think he may of bagged it relatively easily.Comment
