He beat the count anyway. The ref was doing what he saw fit although influnced by the crowd.

Lol I didnt see the fight, Im sure its exaggerated and the Mexicans are probably fuming because he lost... lol..

But hearing all this reminds me when Lamon Brewster knocked down Krasniqi for 13 seconds. The ref counted to 9, Kras was still down. The ref stopped counting and allowed Kras to get up and continue the fight. Weird ****.

No, there's no exaggeration, I'm not Mexican, am completely non-bias, and it was as blatant a robbery as I have EVER seen.

Dude it's definetly not exaggerated. You have to see the ending for yourself. I'm white and I'm telling you it was BS. I shouldnt have said FIX as in he got paid but he definetly did it purposely to protect Butes win. Andrade should be the winner by KO. About 24 seconds went by and even after he did his standing 8 count the ref didnt even ask Bute to walk to him like he's supposed to do, if he did he would of stopped the fight, Bute couldnt even walk back to his corner without help his legs were like spagetti.

i'd say it was probably worse than the Krasniqi - Brewster incident.

It took the ref 24 seconds to finish the count.

It was pretty bad officiating. Bute was holding more than John Ruiz, yet Andrade is the one who gets a warning from the ref for holding. And 2 other times in the fight, when it seemed Bute might be stunned, the ref stops the action for no reason. And a clear push gets scored as a knockdown against Andrade. Then the nonsense at the end.

All in all, really bad referee. And maybe no coincidence that he is from Montreal.
