The event is good for the sport. The fight itself could prove to be a waste of time depending on the outcome.

If Oscar ends up destroying Manny, what does it really prove? All it does is offer more attention to the sport, which is good, but it could turn negative quick.

Well Said Cotto and i have to admit i agree with him... i dont think it brings down the sport but it is not a fight we really want to see. Everyone outside the Phillipines not including Roach and Arum (lol) pretty much see this as an easy victory for Delahoya, who will win by KO.... but what can you do because as much as it is a joke pretty much everyone who badmouths this fight will still get the PPV....

O.k. I have to admit I'm intrigued by the Pac-man vs. Oscar fight. I have no other choice...they decided to fight each other and I have to live with that. I'm sure it will be entertaining but I would've been more intrigued if Oscar chose from a list of other fighters. For a true fight fan like myself, beating Pac does nothing to add to Oscars legacy. Although Pac will be a legend himself. I'ts time for Oscar to fight the best men his size. I want to know how he would fair. For the record I'm rooting for Pac-Man. Cotto's my man and he lives by his word. I agree with his comments but he needs to limit his outspoken opinions and stick with the fighting. Show Oscar how it's done when he comes back to beat Margarito.

It may be bad for boxing.
But there's a need for a Mexican stop PAC before he takes over mexico.
It's just too bad it has to be a junior middleweight.
