this Mr. John guy needs to step it up.
having an undefeated record with no names on it (besides a gift decision against JMM), at 42-0, is just UGLY.Comment

You people better live with it. If he didn't face Linares or Guerrero when they were in the division what makes you think he will face anyone at the top of the dvision now? Steven Luevano is number 2 but odds he will fight him are just low. Plus how the fuck do you get around with a name like Chris John? It has no value to it.Comment

Just because Chris John hasn't faced any big name in the division, doesn't mean that he doesn't have what it takes to be a great champion. Look at Calzaghe. A lot of people had thought that he was just a fluke, destined to be blown away by Lacy. I've seen John fights several times, and my impression was that he was a highly skilled champion. And I still feel the same. Now that Linares moved up to the super featherweight class, there is, in my opinion, no doubt about this Indonesian Dragon being the best featherweight fighter today.
Oh, and Enoki is never a fighter who bugs out from combat. His boxing philosophy is sort of along the line that the last man standing is the winner, whoever inflicts more damage is the winner. He did a very good job of letting the fight go to the point where both guys came to stand and fight. That's how Enoki has fought. But the champion was one step ahead in skills of trading punches. The official scores say it all.Comment
