Speaking of the World Series, did Philly win game 2 tonight? I haven't checked. I know as of last night they were up 1-0 having won 3-2.
No, we played bad... Most of the game was 0-4 with the rays winning... Near the end it got to 2-4 I think... And the emperor kept calling alot of bs plays because I think he was a floridian. Like one of our players was hit by the ball and in instant replay you could tell the emperor saw it. And emperor acted like he didn't see it.
Alot of biased corrupt **** went on yesterday but I don't want to make excuses for the phillies though. Good job to the rays winning but I really hope the phillies win the next 3 games.

The Rays are a solid team, I don't expect Philly to win the next 3 in a row, but I do think they'll win the Championship.
Of course I'm biased as all hell because I was born and raised in Philly, and if they win I get 200K in a betting pool.
The weight (despite the fact that Kelly looked good at 166lbs, just 4lbs shy of the 170lbs limit for the Hopkins fight.)
Bronchitis
An inflamed muscle sac in his elbow
Brusitis
Anything else I'm missing here? Or did Kelly suddenly get A.I.D.S. too?
Give some more examples of fighters who used the "No excuses.....but" line in a post fight interview you guys. I know I've seen it happen dozens of times but my memory is not that good with interviews, I just remember the fights.
I liked Pavlik before the bhop fight because he does have an entertaining style, but his interview after the fight makes him look like a complete *******. Saying things like Bhop isn't crafty and that Bhop isn't really good and that the only reason Bhop won was because of the mistake Pavlik made.
Bull****, the mistakes Pavlik made happened because Bhop wasn't there to be hit, he moved in and out moving his head out of danger and his body out of danger... Pavlik has pissed off people who actually enjoyed watching him.
And I respect Jeff Lacy a lot more then I do Pavlik, because Jeff Lacy literally made no excuses to why he lost to Calzaghe. The worst thing Jeff Lacy said after losing to Calzaghe was that Joe Clinched a lot but he also said he isn't trying to take anything away from joe...

The bolded part is absolutely true. I enjoyed watching Kelly fight prior to the Hopkins fight. I started watching him in '05 against Zuniga. He just happened to fight a guy who I've loved since '95 in Hopkins, and I wanted Bernard to pull the upset.
I predicted it would be, "easy as hell" for Bernard, and called Pavlik "Tarver lite". No disrespect, just being honest.
The way he's acting now is childish, and I'm not a fan anymore.
If Hopkins lost the "Im old excuse" would have been fine.
What do you expect from a 43 year old man? To go out there and pitch a near complete shutout against an undefeated KO artist 17 years his junior by using equal parts movement, combinations, and inside fighting?

Oh wait......
Im just saying its one of the benefits of being an older fighter.
