i love how these pinoy fans act like Penalosa was dominating both De Leon and Gonzales.

De Leon is/was all power. Prolly one of the rawest "champions" the sport had at the time. He did everything wrong, but fortunately for him, his power carried him to the status he had.....................and penalosa couldn't outbox him or use his skills to isolate his work rate. It was a close fight, but De Leon worked harder and landed more punches.

Gonzales was pretty much schooling the **** out of a GOOD boxer in Penalosa. He was backpeddling? From what? Pena isn't a power puncher, he was out BOXING him for the majority of the fight. The body shot that Pena landed WAS absurd. Even Pena was surprised he landed that ****. Credit to him of course because he WON. But at the same time, that fight showed who is the better fighter.

I also wanted to post the Deleon fight for you to watch but I ain't got no time coz I'm heading out to work.
But let me just tell you that Deleon DID NOT even land 3 clean punches on Penalosa. Sure he was throwing more punches, but those punches were hitting nothing but air.
While Penalosa was snapping his head back and forth like a pinata.
