      What you're referring to may be defensive prowess and the willingness to be occasionally dull but one has to recall...being boring in Robinson's time meant no ticket sales and no money. Don't confuse skill with getting hit back. Add to that epic hand speed, two fisted power and being tougher to hit than it looks like and there's the total package. I mean, he was beating Zivic and LaMotta at a time when most of today's fighters are having their tenth pro fight. He lost one fight officially in his first close to 140 and while there are a lot of stiffs there, there's also World champions and former champs all over the place. The craziest thing? His best work at 147 is largely lost to paper as no film exists of fights like Zivic or Gavilan.
