He should get in because someone else did?

      LOL.

Can you make a better case for him than that? I sure hope so.

I'm not knocking him - I loved him when he fought. And he is EXTREMELY underrated by many. Hamed was a brilliant fighter in his prime and could've been much more. But Hall of Fame? Nah.
Naz was the undisputed champ at 126, he did so by fighting all the beltholders at the time, They might not be big-nmaes like Morales/Barrera both who were at 122 at the time but he still beat the titleholder of the WBC,WBA and IBF belts.

If BARRY MaCGIUGAN could get in the HOF then Naz is a dead cert for it.

Barry McGuigan isn't on trial. Let's make a case for Hamed.

And I'm well aware of who he beat for the titles. They were all past it (Soto, Johnson, etc.). Those guys dont make you a Hall of Famer.

Listen, if picking up belts is what gets you in then lets induct William Joppy too. He's a three-time champ. But that's not the case - it's who you BEAT. And not surprisingly, you haven't mentioned who Hamed beat that deserves HOF mention.

The thing is the level of people who are getting in the HOF now is low so for me Naz gets in, Naz doesnt need to beat anyone who is a HOF to be in it, He didnt really have any big-name featherweight around him at the time.

He had to fight people who were moving up in Barrera.. unless you know a famous featherweight who could have made Naz's name better but who naz didnt fight???

If your reason for Hamed getting into the Hall of Fame is because the standard is low then fine. I don't want to continue that trend but fine.

Barrera is actually still fighting. And he found plenty of people to fight. So did Morales. Look at their resume's. Hamed didn't keep fighting - he hurt himself. End of story.

I love how people bring up how many times he defended his then-bogus WBO title...means ****. It's who you beat and when you do it.

Hamed doesn't qualify. Sadly, if he kept fighting, he might've.
He beat the WBO, WBA, WBC AND IBF Champs.

                    Yeah he did nothing.
