I wouldn't say Tito was never the same. He came back and looked true to form against Mayorga and of course the match up with Wright was all wrong.

But Vargas you could tell was seriously damaged and DLH drove down the nails.

Meldrick Taylor and Fernando Vargas weren't the same after losing to Julio Cesar Chavez and Felix Trinidad, although they were still good fighters.

It wasn't just getting KO'd, it was the fact that they took terrible beatings in those fights.
