i never thought pavlik to be a bum....he just not ready to fight at light hevey..like he did when he fought taylor at 170 he could had lost that fight... but in 160 he was cool

but i'm not going to use that as an excuse to why hopkins won...hopkins whoop his ass that night....plain and simple

I agree. I also think Pavlik just thought he was going to go in there and knock Hopkins out He should have known better.

Hopkins put a master class ass whoopin on Pavlik.

I'm hoping he'll learn from this and be better as a result.

The board was flooded with hopkins threads for a few days after the fight and rightfully so.
It's kind of like karma balancing itself out. Some of the folks picking bhops to lose were talking a lot of trash too...so I think it's only natural to have an outpouring of praise and props after he not only beat pavlik...he shut him out and made him look like a c-class fighter. It's died down a little already.
