    Fighters best at nullifying speed?

    We always talk about how 'speed kills' in boxing, and how Bernard has only lost to quick fighters lately...so which not-so-fast fighters were the best at nullifying their opponents speed and being about to outbox them/beat them up?

          those were good ones.

          off the top of my head, I would go for Julio Cesar Chavez, McCallum, Kostya Tsyzu, and JMM as pretty good choices.

          they dont have to be active fighters.

          are you guys saying Vernon Forrest mostly because of Mosley?

              I would say Julio C. Chavez Sr...Marvin Hagler, Hatton,Toney...Pretty much any fighter than can apply constant pressure and having a chin helps too.

                Toney was pretty fast himself though. Hagler was a good one

                  Did you see him lose 18 rounds in the two fights with Meldrick and Pernell?

                  * first Meldrick fight only.

                    Meldrick is one of the fastest fighters of all time and Chavez still beat the hell out of him, and Pernell was way more than just a quick fighter.
