My teas gone cold Im wondering why i..
Got out of bed at all
The morning rain clouds up my window..
And I cant see at all
And even if I could itll all be gray,
But your picture on my wall
It reminds me, that its not so bad,
Its not so bad..
it gives me a warm feeling insideLast edited by FloydsEra; 10-22-2008, 04:34 PM.Comment

Hopkins is a diffirent kind of "superhuman boxer". He's mostly about skills. Physically he's gifted but nowhere near the amount of a RJJ or Whitaker. Those guys could get away with a lot of stuff that only a handful in history could. Floyd left with a lot of questions. I would say he was more purely skilled than the last 2 mentioned, and therefor might have faired better at an older age. But we don't know.Even though he's retired, I would say Floyd is the only one that has skills that seem other worldy. It's almost as if he's a god when he's doing his thing in the ring.
Boxers with superhuman skills of the past 20 years, Roy Jones and Pernell Whitaker
what do you guys think?
They should check Floyd's DNA...make sure he aint no extraterestrial spy or something.
Bhop is a one of a kind though. Talk about long reign. He has always been a top fighter, even in his younger days, all the way up to his 40s.
I suppose Leonard and Duran were before the timeframe you mentioned, but they were amazing too. Especially Duran, who also had a very long career and went way beyond his natural weight class. Leonard because he was still winning against the best while having so many breaks inbetween.Comment
