Why Is Mikkel Kessler Avoiding any real Challenges?

He should call out Taylor after his fight or move up weight and fight one of the HW title holders and than call out Dawson.

He needs to ditch the WBA title, it's a paper title. He needs to tell Palle to go **** himself and call up GBP and ask Oscar if he's interested.

Fight Taylor, Bute, Froch and Pavlik (When he moves up). And just stay @ 168 untill he can't make the weight anymore.

Kessler's stocks went down big time from losing to Calzaghe, so I doubt Dawson would want to fight him.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic. Apparently HBO wants to show only US fighters? Like the Klitschko's? Like Joe Calzaghe? Manny Pacquiao? Antonio Margarito? Etc etc?

Mikkel Kessler has been on HBO twice and both times rated horribly. No one cared to see him face Librado Andrade (in spite of what you may think) and Calzaghe simply wasn't well known enough here when they fought. Calzaghe's a lot bigger in popularity now since his win over Hopkins but even that fight wasn't on pay-per-view. But his fight against Roy Jones will be.

It's all about who the opponent is.

Kessler wants another appearance on HBO? Fight Glen Johnson. Fight Chad Dawson. Kelly Pavlik. At least one of those guys are available and any network would take that on.

But at this point in time HBO would rather air the latest version of Pimps Up, Hoes Down before spending money to air Mikkel Kessler vs. Who? in Kessler's backyard.

I should add that'd not the only thing Kessler can do. It doesn't have to be HBO, it can be Showtime where most of the sports best fights (and sadly it's B-list stars) reside. Not popular enough for Home Box Office? Get your rep up on Showtime! It's what Ricky Hatton did, Jeff Lacy (I don't think he ever made it to HBO, thank God for Jermain Taylor lol), Joe Calzaghe, and now Chad Dawson and countless others did.

I'm not sure why Kessler's management team is doing this but he better get rid of them quick. Because if not he'll be singing the same sad story Joe Calzaghe is singing regarding his inability to land big fights when they mattered. Cry us a river.

or chase anyone, i mean damn he has the potential to make it big IMO, as long as he gets some fights in the US and maybe loosens up a bit when hes in the ring he will do very well

some potential fights for him to pressure for 160-175:

even miranda still, get him some exposure and he could look very good doing it
