Well it's been revealed this was all a ploy to steal his old rivals lime light. After an interview alongside Zab Judah, Roy spoke to a crowded press room as to their future bouts, such as that with Joe Calzaghe. Speaking to a small number of journalists shortly after this, Roy Jones announced he's to star in a Movie scheduled for May of 2009. Apparently Roy Jones initially turned down the offer citing his recovering boxing career as his primary focus. However when his bout with Joe Calzaghe was postponed Roy Jones later accepted the offer and is proud to be featured in a new promotional poster;

This reminds me of one of the biggest LOLs I had on this site this year: Duggie said that Roy was playing a dead guy in the new series of CSI. He reckons that Roy said to the cameraman: "slap me in the jaw and you've got ten minutes to work with."
