First you said Chavez Sr is overrated and then went on to say De Leon is an excellent fighter. lol... Is it just to make your PR boxers look good? I take it the PRs that Chavez beat the crap out of were overrated too correct?

Ponce is ok at best, he's not great. Cotto on the other hand is a good boxer and Margarito beating him looks alot more impressive than JML beating Ponce.

Of course Margarito looks better in beating Cotto! Cotto is a way better fighter than DeLeon. AND YES THE PRs Chavez beat were overrated too! I tell it like it is PR or Mexican. He beat Laporte when Laporte had like 6 losses, he beat Rosario when Rosario was on his way down and he beat Hector Camacho..nuff said. He is lucky Felix Trinidad didnt do what De La Hoya did because Trinidad would have ended his career and Tito could have. But he isnt like De La Hoya( I bet Mexicans are proud of what DLH did to a old Chavez,cmon)I tell it like it is and the truth is Chavez was great but he was overrated he was a perfect fighter, body shots excellent, hell of a chin, and his skill was good, stamina great but his competition weak, his speed slow and his record was blown up with some serious bums and fighting guys 2 and three times, I mean look at his son he is following the same game plan..and I never said DeLeon was great.

PR boxing can't ill afford to have another Cotto at this point in time, so we just have to accept the fact that Juanma "bum assasin" Lopez will be fighting tomato cans for a while. He'll probably fight Lontchi after Medina.

Don't get me wrong, Juanma WANTS to fight Vazquez or even lowly Concepcion, but his team doesn't have that much faith in his capabilities. I would even be surprised if Team Juanma lets him fight Penalosa or Gonzalez.

Concepcion was 17 years old when he lost (by mere majority decision) to a veteran fighter who has lasted the distance with fighters Pongsaklek Wonjongkam, Sod Looknongyantoy, Nonito Donaire and a prime Pramuansak Posuwan. A prime Medina lost by UD (and was dropped a couple of times) to a young Boom Boom Bautista whose best win is over...? Think about it.

Bautista > unnamed bum.

Also... it's not like Concepcion has been crushing good fighters, or even decent fighters, or even anyone who is not a bum.

He hasn't done anything more than Medina, who also has a terrible resume.

I'm not saying Medina is a good choice, but... really, neither is Concepcion.

In Concepcion's case, Arum has already announced way back that he's reserving Concepcion for his Macau card, this was waay before Team Juanma put out a press release that they are "considering" fighting Concepcion. Go back and try to find out where you got your information that these fighters doesn't want to fight Juanma and you'll see that it came from Juanma's publicists - this appeared recently on elnuevodia.com and the story was carried by Mark Vester. Michael Koncz in a Sept 29 interview confirmed Arum's earlier statement that Concepcion will be fighting in Macau.
