Will Chad Dawson duck Bernard Hopkins now?

You beat Hopkins with speed, I think Dawson could win a UD. But, he was rocked by right hands from Johnson and we know B Hop has a damn good right hand!

I don't think either fighter would like to fight.

Hopkins says he wants one more fight - Roy Jones. Or calzaghe (who already said no chance). Hopkins will be 44 when he fights next and there is no need for him to fight a guy like Dawson, who is a good young champ but doesn't bring any money to the table and is relatively unknown. Hopkins already paid his dues over a 20 year career, is a automatic hall of famer, an ATG and just proved himself against a young 26 year old in pavlik. He doesn't need to fight anymore young guys. He's lookin for one last payday and that's roy jones.

Dawson I'm sure wouldn't like to take a chance against someone like hopkins, who will be 44. Nothing will be gained if he wins, everything will be lost if he loses.

Personally though I think hopkins can win by UD. If he can fight with the same energy and motivation as he did against pavlik.

Dawson ducked a rematch against Glenn Johnson, you bet your ass he will duck Hopkins. Hopkins should call Dawson out because I think Hopkins can beat him but of course it would be a tougher fight than Pavlik since Dawson is fast and a southpaw. But I don't think Dawson is as talented as Calzaghe in my opinion, I think Dawson is still a young fighter who hasn't hit his peak.

There is no point of a rematch, its a waste of time. Tarver is done with boxing, but of course he'll probably want a rematch for the money... He looked like **** in his last fight, I'm sure its because Dawson is talented but I still see flaws in Dawsons game that Johnson exposed.

I thought Dawson's fight against Johnson was just a bad day and didn't properly prepare, mainly because he had a switch of trainers. Now that Dawson is getting the hang of Eddie Mustafa's method they are clicking and corrected A LOT of the mistakes Dawson made against Johnson. Dawson WILL only beat him Johnson convincingly next time, if you honestly think Dawson isn't talented as Calzaghe, or Johnson will beat him again, then you don't know how good Dawson really is.

Oh and Dawson WANTS TO FIGHT Hopkins. Dawson called out Hopkins/Pavlik and Calzaghe/Jones.

The money isn't all that big, and Tarver KNOWS he will lose again, so what's the point? Oh and what weakness are you talking about? I thought Dawson corrected a lot of the mistakes that he made against Johnson.
