Pavlik has never taken really brutal punishment sans the burst of offense Taylor put on him in rd 2 the first time. He'll be fine. Hopkins whooped him and busted him up but didn't deliver a frightful beatin that would ruin him.

I agree.....Margarito on the other hand(although an exciting champion) thinks defense is what keeps his dog in the yard.

You just said Kelly had a granite chin???? If anything I think he has a pretty glassy chin. Taylor really hurt him and BHOP wasn't really smashing him that bad. BHOP is not a very strong puncher, a guy like Abraham could easily floor Pavlik. Pavlik did well against a few big punchers but as soon as he stepped up in talent he started taking big shots and started to be really effected by it. A good puncher with solid boxing skills puts him down. Honestly a guy like Miranda who you see the punches coming is going to have less of a chance KO'n you than a guy like Taylor who isnt as strong but has well times quality shots coming in. Remember, its the shots you don't see that hurt the most.

I would love to see abraham against pavlik...to finally see if pavlik is the real thing or abraham is a hype job... be interesting to find out who gets knockout...

Pavlik has told everyone that he plans to be around maybe for 3 more years. He wants to retire and raise his family and have a good life.

yea he,s been around a while OK...and just think that the speed on his punches look very slow and could be from all those years ou getting hit... imagine if margarito had speed on his punches...wow
