Why do SOME yanks have such a vendetta against Calzaghe?

i hate bernard 1000's more than calzaghe.

mofo feels like joe is entitled to something.

boxing fans are allowed to love or hate who they want. that's the point of being a fan.

I don't have a vendetta I just get annoyed by the fact that Calzaghe is a much greater fighter than he has ever bothered to prove in the ring.

Clinton Woods managed to fight RJJ, Tarver and Glen Johnson *3, it's a lot easier to like a guy like him who at least went out and challenged himself to find out the limits of how good he was rather than fight a bunch of middle of the road and past their prime fighters before proclaiming himself satisfied with the wonderful results.

I do recognize Calzaghe as a good fighter.

Personally, i'm just not into European fighters...except for Ricky Hatton and Henry Cooper.

Back in 05 Calzaghes name was NEVER mentioned in this forum..
Anyone whos been here a while knows that..
He beat Lacy and everyone was bucknasty after that..
I think it was a good accomplishment b/c Lacy was the man at that weight.
But his career is really BS..

Roy is shot. Joe is going after a payday. If Joe loses and I don't think he should or will everyone will def. be laughing their asses off.
