This story has PRESS RELEASE TO HYPE THE FIGHT AND INCREASE PPV BUYS written all over it. It's like they're saying 'see Oscar can get beaten up by smaller guys' and 'See Pac is hammering his bigger sparring partners, this fight is even, we told ya'.

                  1. see who the article is by

                  2. if Victor Ortiz supposedly "busted up" Oscar, than this would make the fight seem less of a mismatch. It almost seems like an attempt by Golden Boy to make Oscar the underdog.

                      This is funny

Richard Schaefer, CEO for Golden Boy, told The Manila Bulletin that De la Hoya isolated himself in camp and is training very hard with new trainer Nacho Beristain to show the world that he is not taking Pacquiao lightly.

"(His training camp is) totally isolated. It is a closed camp which shows you how serious Oscar takes this fight," said Schaefer.
