Ortiz Reportedly Busts Up De La Hoya During Sparring

Word is going around that WBO North American Boxing Organization light welterweight champion Victor “Vicious” Ortiz “beat up” Oscar De La Hoya in a sparring session at the secluded Big Bear training camp in California last week even as Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao was hammering big Marcus McDaniels in a four round sparring session at the Wild Card Gym of celebrated trainer Freddie Roach. Oscar made this up himself so the fight seems more acceptable.

thats what i was thinking..Pacman beats up his sparring partner, and ODLH gets beat by his sparring partner. I dont buy it.

On the record: I'm about to piss alot of Phillipino's off, probably.

Manny may win in Dec. , but he will NOT knock out Oscar.

We know a few things about Manny. He is fast, has great power for his size/weight and has a good beard.

That does not mean he can take a WW punch, much less Oscars, which has hurt MW fighters. It also does not mean he can hurt ODLH with sheer power or workrate. Oscar has shown to have a granite chin in the past and it will not change overnight.

IMO, this will be a close fight if Oscar does'nt land anything real solidly. If he does, I doubt Pacman will be able to take it.

It's a ploy to try and think Pacquiao has a good chance because he's beating his partners and DLH's losing to his (appartently)
