I'de prefer Gerry should be given the shot, He is more skilled compare to the two fighter but if the negotiation did not prosper I'de like to See Medina vs Juanma this will be a tough fight for JuanMa. Abe should be stay out of the triangle because JuanMa is too big for him, and Abe shoulld take more fight before making a shot with Juanma and let Abe prepare for that fight.

If the team of Juanma is saying Gerry is asking for too much why not make the necessary negotiation to pursue the fight. not just ignoring the challenge if the team Juanma is not affraid. Just like what hapen with Pacman and ODLH negotiation was done and the fight was done deal.

Lopez will probably knock Concepcion out, I wouldn't be surprised if it happened early either, Concepcion is a relatively slow starter, Lopez the opposite.

This fight ain't gonna happen Dec 6 and Team Juanma knows it. Roach can't afford to train two fighters going into the biggest fights of their lives. Arum also stated in previous interviews that he's saving Concepcion for his Macau card (early January). Earliest this two would meet would be mid next year...that is if Team Juanma's really interested to pursue this fight.

From what I remember, this guy looked pretty good on the Margarito-Cotto undercard.

Still, he hasn't really fought anyone and he lost to a guy with a 33% win ratio... by decision. That's not a good mark to have on your record.

Either way... Juan Manuel Lopez vs. anyone will be enough for me to pull the trigger on buying the December 6 PPV.

That's what I was thinking. He will catch him with his left hook early.

                    EDIT: RIGHT hook .

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if Lopez managed to catch Concepcion early with his right hook when Concepcion leaps in with his punches.
