Great thread natas, nicely outlines a common them in just some of Hopkins victims.

The excuses piss me off. Do they just think 'me = punching, landing, winning'? So whenever it doesn't happen there must be something wrong with them, not that their opponents on another level to their past opponents or sparring partners.

It happens, and I know I certainly would not concede to being completely dismantled if I felt it was my own fault and not my opponent's. But, that doesn't excuse his loss.

All that matters is how your perform on game day. Hopkins came to win, and he deserves all the credit he is owed for his performance.
