He seems to be slicker, more black than Pavlik. He even bends his knees more.

Some of the best boxers in history couldn't spell. Spelling has little corrolation to other forms of knowledge.

Pavlik looked slow, had a belly, had underformed muscle and didn't bother to throw punches. His punches had no crack and could not connect. He needs to learn to bob and weave, get good at moving or jumping constantly side to side, develop more muscle and speed, and learn to use those long arms with long range overhand hooks from a crouched position. He should study Louis, Tyson and Dempsey. He is already good at fighting stand up fighters, he needs to learn to fight bob and weavers and learn to bob and weave himself. He also needs the muscle development of Hopkins or Roy Jones, but in middleweight form. All of those things I don't think he well ever develop, so back to middleweight and a few more wins and some losses in his future before he gives up and retires.

Even Hopkins told him after he fight he could take a hard hit, and give a solid heavy handed punch, but he needs to learn to move and deliver constant hard blows to a moving opponent.

Definitely. Kid manages to bend his knees with ****ing knee pads on, imagine how far there'd go with them bad boys off. Kids a future Hall of Famer, god only knows what he's doing with Pavlik's soul.

Enzo was sick as a dog before his fight with David Haye but the record books will show Haye knocked him out in round two. The record books will show that Hopkins beat Pavlik very convincingly and thats all that counts ! no excuses

I believe Pavlik has fought at 170 before.

Fought a good few times above 160. In 2005 fought Vincent at 170 with a TKO2. Seemed to find it just fine, no complaints, weird.

The question that should be asked then why is something always wrong with fighters in the ring when its against Hopkins? Tarver said the same thing and countless others. I made a thread a long time ago about what happened to fighters after Hopkins. A better statement is to say that Hopkins makes certain fighters look the way the do. No different than Jones/Toney Hopkins/Johnson Jones/Hopkins. When a good fighter faces a great one most of the time they can look amateurish. Where is Winky?

I gotta agree with this guy, it's happened so many times. Everyone has seemed "not right" when they have fought B-Hop, well isn't the logical answer that it's because of what Hopkins is doing in there? Even when Joe C beat him he was very unhappy with the performance, B-Hop just takes things away and out of fighters. The guy is awesome.
