Danny just didnt want to humiliate Vitali.

He just made sure he sent some punches to the future so Vitali was feeling the force of his punches for a full 2 weeks after the fight.

Wouldnt you retire if you were being hit non stop for 2 weeks rather than face Williams again?.

Vitali thought the coast was clear when he came back. How wrong he was!
