I hate open scoring in boxing !!!

I know alot of people perfer to have open scoring boxing, like in major league baseball. But one of the trade offs it has, lets say someone was ahead on the scorecards from the 8th round and knew it, the fighter who was ahead on points would simply run around around the ring. As for the topic, I don't really like open scoring either. The pros and cons kind of negate each other so why change it?
