WTF is it with some people here?

Wot is with people on this forum? I mean people (Many) were saying Palik would KO Hopkins before the fight,Then when he lost those same people have chosen to call him a bum,Overated etc....
Also the people who underestimated B-Hop and talked **** saying he was washed up,shot so much he would lose by points or KO to a one dimensional fighter.etc are now kissing his ass because he won.

Another thing,Calzaghe is within his right to gloat and sound off on Pavlik considering all the **** he had to listen to before saturday night.I mean Pavlik is a good fighter but it has to be said that he's not even close to Calzaghe's class.Infact it's amusing that some of you still think he can beat Joe...LMFAO
Calzaghe is a great fighter but many people seem to think he slapped his way to his 45-O record and 21 consecutive title defences. If you think thats the case (which it clearly isn't) then would you mind explaing how he managed to pull it off hypnotizing the audience, judges referee...etc
Give the guy credit,He's undefeated and defended his title one more time than B-Hop.

I'll admit it, I thought Pavlik would take a UD, possible best case scenario KO. This still means I can think he's overratted though, just that Hop was less shot then I assumed.

Also didn't really factor in the weight...

Yep weight is a huge factor, and experience...although I thought Pavliks youth would have taken him to a decision.

I knew all along Hopkins would win easy.

I would have said it was close fight, and I also predicted that it was a possibility that Hopkins would put Pav to the canvas. I really wasn't expecting the display Hopkins put on, but then I again I was not suprised whatsoever that he won. That's why I didn't put a penny on it, thankfully.

im tired of people making excuses for pavlik... im tired of pavlik making excuses for himself and not givin bhop props..

pavlik was overrated and overhyped and he got exposed.. like i always said he is a one dimensional fighter with overated power and skills.. all he has is a plan a no plan b, c, or d..

pavlik has fought at 170 before and won.. he fought at 166.. he said it would be easier to fight at 170 because he wouldnt have to strain himself to make weight.. he said he would feel stronger at 170.. he said he felt good and had energy at this weight.. he has a 17 year age advantage.. i dont wanna hear ****..

now all the sudden he gets his ass handed to him and all these excuses come out the wood works.. "oh he was sick, or im not used to this weight, or some other bs.."

pavlik is a good fighter, but not a great fighter.. he's far from elite..
              he lost no excuses

I m not really a fan of either fighter but...

I hold my hands up and say i thought Pavlik had a good chance of a KO, i didnt think Hopkins legs would keep his movement going for the full 12 rounds...There was a little thing in the back of my head though thinking that Hopkins may just be to smart for him considering Pavlik is a bit of a limited fighter...I m glad Hopkins won to be honest, it was a good fight to watch, so much skill on show

@CJ Mak - No he is not

Joe Calzaghe has no business trying to piggy back off Hop for credit on Pavlik. Feeling vindicated against Hopkins is fine. B-Hop won in the fashion he did because he dissected Pavlik's style through video of his fights and a combination of classic fights to negate the positives. Joe Calzaghe does not prepare for a fight like that. He decides what he's going to do against his opponent when he's in the ring (he's said this himself). Hence, you would've saw a completely different bout if he got a win against Kelly. Every non punching movement by Hopkins was working in negation to Ghost's offense.

Am Im making excuses for Pavlik? NO So save that **** for another thread and stick to the topic in hand which is that people underestimated Hopkins and said he would lose by UD or KO,Those people are now KISSING HIS ASS.At the same time the people who were kissing Pavlik's ass are now dissing him.

                    Two faced bandwagonners,Simple as that.

He's not claiming any credit from it though.Calzaghe's just revelling in the fact that he was right and he desrves to when you consider the ammount of **** he's taken over Pavlik.
