Oscar De La Hoya Training With Victor Ortiz For Pacquiao

Manny Pacquiao has put together good crop of sparring partners, including Olympic silver medal winner Amir Khan and undefeated Yuri Foreman, but his opponent Oscar De La Hoya is also getting some known fighters to help him prepare for their December 6 duel at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Just a question for the boxing community.

The DLH vs Pac fight is supposedly going to be a walk in the park for DLH due to his size, height, reach, and all the other advantages, then my question is why bother training hard for the bout?

Does DLH really need a trainer in Berstain with these advantages on his side?

Why not just work on making weight?

Does Pac really pose a threat to DLH?

With all the advantages leaning toward DLH, why take on this extensive training?

Insights and feedbacks please no bias opinions.

I wonder if he's staying at Shane's place in big bear, he sold the house he had up there a few years back.

I also wonder if Fernando Vargas is over his hatred for Delahoya, Roberto Garcia and his dad are trainers for Victor.

He sold his house to Tito Ortiz (UFC). Pretty sure DLH and Vargas still got that bad blood. DLH did knock him...

I'd pay to see the Oscar - Ortiz sparring sessions.

sparring wont finish your career by any means. Its a good experience for Ortiz and good work for Oscar. Both will likely learn some from the other. No careers will be ruined, settle down.
