Forrest isn't B-Hop - this time Pavlik wins.

I'd go with Pavlik. I though I read that Pavlik was probably gonna fight Rubio though.

I don't think Forrest should move up and if the fight does come off, Pavlik by KO.

Looks like Forrest is cashing in his chips, even with the loss Pavlik is way too much for Forrest.

You're thinking on a competitive level, of course 154 is the better weight for him. But where is the money there? Paulie Ayala wasn't going to beat Morales or Barrera and he knew that, but when you're old and shot you need to get paid and then get the F--- outta Dodge. That's where Forrest is now.

Yes, I was. The money is definitely against Pavlik, who would probably gladly take the fight now because he needs a few confidence boosters now IMO, Forrest knows the cash cows at 147-154 aren't going to fight him so financially it's a good decision.

Forrest knows one way or the other he is dropping his title to Sergio Martinez, so like you said he is cashing in the biggest payday he can at this stage of his career.

Vernon Forrest is many things, an idiot is not one of them. He knows what's going to happen to him when he fights Pavlik, especially since he isn't a middleweight.
