to me its all a bunch of excuses to take away wins. I'll give you the Oscar win, Bernard was too big and strong. But I think Tito had every right fighting at 160. I think Winky was a good win even at 170. Winky is still a real good tatical boxer even at super middle.(168 and 170 are the same to me). The Tarver win is funny to me because going in Tarver said he was 100% ready, no excuses. Then Hopkins dominates him and just like every ****ing fight that happens in boxing, people found away to take the accomplishment away. They had to justify it, because it went against their theory that Hopkins only beats small fighters. So they jumped to the Rocky excuse and drove it to the sun set. Pavlik is ****ing taller than Hopkins, he can handle 170. people always find a way to make an excuse......lets say that was an advantage...let just say.....SO ****ING WHAT!!! PAVLIK HAD A NEARLY 20 YEAR AGE ADVANTAGE!!!!!!!!!!!Everyone was on the pavlik express going into the fight, then he gets dominated by a 45 year old and now its his weight...
Hopkins deserves credit. Hes an all time great. Most athletes at 43 are not competing at this high level in their sports...hes a special fighter.
