It was a really **** fight, but Hopkins did not do enough to try and win it. He danced backwards, feigned injury and tried every dirty trick to avoid trading with Calzaghe. It was ugly and I think the judges saw that.

calzaghe didn't beat hopkins. Period. He didn't do **** he barely even touched hopkins he just threw a bunch of useless air flurries every round and tricked the judges as usual into thinking he's actually landing "punches". Prime Hopkins would have destroyed this guy in about 7.

And my point is that Hopkins face was clean after the Jones fight. He doesnt mark up - hes not Ricky Hatton. The way his face looked after is one of the lamest arguments that you can muster up.

True but when he did land....... He did land! He wasn't windmilling into complete air with his head down and eyes closed like Joe was doing. It was boring, BUT the fact of the matter is Jones CLEARLY won the fight UNLIKE Joe. The judges, the public, the haters/fans all agree on the outcome. No dispute what so ever........ it WAS a very CLEAR win for Jones.

Every time I watch the fight I (LOL) see Joe swinging at nothing. He did it in the Kessler fight but still connected (just looked funny). He did it in the Hop fight (and looked worse) and slapped the hell out of some air.

My over all point is/was. If he leaves himself wide open and continues to do "The sloppy slap". Jones WILL counter and could possibly hurt him badly who knows. Joe of recent is so wide open, a really good counter puncher could connect. Hop did only once, but didn't take the risks or "take the seat belt off" for the rest of the fight. Or as many say "he got tired" and "didn't do enough".

while I always thought he edged it out, i never thought he had been blatanly
robbed......well that changed yesterday when i was watching HBO ondemand
and was watching calzaghe's greatest hits (watch it you will be amazed)

when they showed calzaghe's highlights in the fight (not bernard's) in slo mo I noticed calzaghe
didnt land anything, AND on top of that hopkins countered him every single
time in the process.

whats even worse is in one of calzaghe's higlights they show him
throwing an air flurry and then getting stunned in the process by a hopkins
left hook,all of this happens while one of the commentators praise calzaghe's handspeed

hopkins won that fight.

I have always said the same thing,a fellow forumite once posted loads of giffs and a video in slow motion here.We all saw how Hopkins was robbed.Hopkins was even taunting the **** all the way through.Joe was even surprised when his hand was raised.

You will remember the judge who gave the **** the victory retired after the fight,some say it was in shame others said he had been blind already even before the fight.How they got a blind man to be a boxing judge still baffles everyone apart from a few sheep shaggers

Listen ****face. I was responding to some thick **** who said Calzaghe didnt land because there were no marks on Hopkins' face. I said that Hopkins' face rarely ever gets marked up even against Jones - that doesnt mean nothing was landed.

If Joe leaves himself open as he did all through the Hopkins fight and many times in the Kessler fight (looking pathetic in the Manfredo fight). He'll be countered by Jones, its just a fact.

Even a **** eating POS old as sand Roy Jones will counter the "sloppy Joe slap" he presented all night with Hop. It was sad and I don't understand how anyone can praise that.

Joe didn't land anything reason his corner looked the way they did. Father and son knew they had lost....

But yea you Joey fans keep defending, he will need it come time for the HOF. He'll be lucky if he makes it.......
