Pavlik is too slow to fight like Hopkins. I don't think one would really want to be trained by the man who dominated him either, from a psychological standpoint. You're right though, it would be crazy.

      For the 6th time,

I am not suggesting for Pavlik to emulate Hopkins.

That said, most of the skills Hopkins possesses and could teach require speed which Pavlik does not have. This was my primary point, regardless of whether or not it would be "emulation".

I firmly believe BHop could show Pavlik a lot of **** that would suit his style.

                  Thoughts? (Please vote!)

                  On a side note,
I thought it was funny how when Hops was coaching Kelly after the fight, it looked like a son talking to his son. Kelly even said "yes sir".

                  PLEASE NOTE!
I am not suggesting for Pavlik to emulate Hopkins. We all know he doesnt have the hand speed and/or "slickness".

oh hell yea...like rocky and apollo...then he and hopkins can run on the beach together...LOL

Like what? Those things, a lot of other trainers could do just as well. They're too stylistically different for it to be some form of special partnership. Hopkins getting in to training could be a good idea, but it's hard to say. Even if he did he'd be better suited finding fighters with abilities more amenable to the slick style he honed over the years, to pass it on.

I bet Hopkins can run more than Pavlik
