slappy joe is a brave fighter for saying those things to kelly, getting credit for someone else's hardwork is a brave trait indeed. slappy joe your making yourself look silly again. i think BHOP would beat you the 2nd time around. dont hype yourself joe your not great period and your wins are against old washed-up fighters. i bet you joe would proclaim himself "GOD OF BOXING" if he beats an old washed-up roy jones, that is if he beats roy.

Hopkins didn't exactly look old and washed up last saturday night. Calzaghe's style clearly pisses a lot of people off (mainly the americans) but give credit where credit is due, he always finds a way to win. You don't like his "slaps", i didn't like Hopkins faking low blows and being boring throughout his career, but i still give him credit for being one of the best boxers of his era, because he is.

You have to laugh at the septics getting worked up because some Brit *** has taken the piss out of their great hope. I'm a Pavlik fan but I'm actually glad he lost now.

If Calzaghe was american and Pavlik was British the same people would be cheering Calzaghe from the rafters.

And Jeff Lacy isn't a better pressure fighter than Pavlik, what are you nuts? Lord have mercy.

You're clearly incapable of completely understanding what I write. Where did I say Lacy was a better pressure fighter? I said that both he Pavlik were the same type of fighter...pressure fighters with high workrates, and Lacy and Kessler were better technical boxers than Pavlik.

Look, stop making me say the same **** 3 or 4 times before you understand it. It's a pain in the ass, trying to carry on a conversation with someone who just refuses to read thoroughly.

And Kessler isn't mechanical at all. I've seen that written by a few different people here (or maybe it was you, a few different times). He's European, and their style doesn't look as fluid as most American fighters, but that has nothing to do with his skill and prowess. If you honestly don't think he's a level above Pavlik where actual boxing skill is concerned, then you're delusional or bias, or both.

                Give me a ****ing break.

How can I understand you when you think Jeff Lacy is a better technical BOXER than Kelly Pavlik?

                Seriously?

What makes me laugh is the fact that Joe beat B-Hop and barr the flash knockdown in the first round the margin of victory would have been higher....i was repeatedly being told by people that Joe had to fight Pavlik and it would be proved when he finally sent B-Hop into retirement well im glad Joe has unleashed some harsh words on people because all of a sudden no -one is saying Joe needs to fight pavlik cos the old man schooled pavlik!...i actually think that pavlik will come out of this a better fighter and lets be fair he stepped up in weight to fight B-Hop but Joe would have stopped pavlik and now Joe can smash RJJ and retire with his conscience in tact and his record clean.......has Joe ducked anyone??? answers on a postcard!

he is right. Pavlik was overhyped. Kudos to Hopkins, at that age, he still got it.
