Pavlik was 172, Hopkins was 185 - Kelly lost to a bigger man

Pavlik would have looked so much better if Hopkins allowed it to happen.

So many are saying Pavlik looked unusually slow, lifeless, no snap.

Well 95% of the reason is because Hopkins made him look that way. I will chalk the other 5% to the weight gain thing.

Pavlik just got out smarted and out hustled. If he came in unprepared and with the wrong game plan, that is his own problem. It was Pavlik's duty to be ready. He claimed he was ready. He said he felt good.

You cannot place any blame on this other than Hopkins putting on a master class.

At the time of the fight, the more thickly built Bernard Hopkins weighed 185 while Kelly Pavlik was 172.
