I would of liked to see a rematch.

I enjoyed the first fight and it was close so the idea of a second fight is not bad.

I think if Calzaghe wins the only fight he needs to fight is Chad Dawson because he is the king of the light heavy weights then retires...If he loses than he should just retire because there's noone left for him to fight and plus he's boring anyway......I think RJJ will win anyway and set up b-hop-RJJ 2 in feb or march...

Joe Calzaghe doesn't realize acting like that is bad for him in this climate. He better beat Jones comfortably, because he isn't giving HBO any incentive for favorability if their bout is close, because with potential BIG money in a Jones/Hopkins rematch, he just may draw the short straw with this retirement talk.

I'll bump this one more, I think it's important for everyone to keep in mind.

No surprise. He wants out and the lack of any worthwhile (money wise) opposition make it easy.

The only way he'd fight again is Hopkins at the Millennium Stadium. That's a pension fund plus goodbye party all rolled into one.

Calzaghe has said he wants to retire since ages ago. Why is it that people can't get the idea into their heads? Calzaghe is past his best and by retiring after the next fight he's doing himself a favor. How hard is it to understand?
