You conveniently ignored the rest of my post, where I gave a legitimate reason as to why I accept Taylor not taking the fight - which is what you asked.

You also ignored my statement about the difference in level of competition between Reid and Taylor, and why Taylor takes so much flack from certain fans while everyone else who allegedly ducked Froch (aside from Inkin) - fighters at his level who should have more incentive to fight him - gets off scot free.

Taylor or Lacy would be a great test for him IMO !

I asked why you accept Taylor avoiding him then say "how can Froch fans think that when his best win is a shot Reid"? Taylor and Di Bella must've noticed something good enough to avoid the fight.

Taylor's avoidance has been more public and more blatant. He had a chance to fight for a title in his first fight at 168 and he blatantly avoided it. Inkin gets stick too for pulling out twice and somehow having a title before Froch. Edison Miranda was offered the fight but he fought Abraham instead which is actually a bigger fight than Froch at this point. I dont really care enough about Berrio or Rubin Williams to be complaining over them avoiding it to be honest.

Froch beats Pascal no doubts. He would also beat Lacy to the punch all night, but with his power would wear him down quicker then Calzaghe did and go for a KO. Jermain however, is probably too skilled, but we don't know how Froch fairs against that. Taylor/Froch is the likely outcome, and although i'll be routing for Froch, i think Taylor would come out on top. I hope i'm wrong.

If you're going to quote me, actually quote me, don't make it up. It's really easy, considering it's all text on a message board. You don't have to recite it from memory or paraphrase. Just quote me.

Taylor's decision not to face Froch was more public because he is a more notable fighter than the rest of the guys you mentioned, which is basically what I was getting at when I asked why he is usually used as the scapegoat for guys who haven't fought Froch. The fact that he's a bigger name gives him less incentive to fight Froch, as I said, while the other names on your list don't have as much leeway when it comes to making big fights.

You said it yourself - you don't care enough about the other guys to complain.

Essentially Taylor is a target for criticism because he's BETTER than Miranda, Inkin, Berrio, or Williams... who Froch should have been fighting to make a name for himself. Instead he's harping on the biggest name he can find to draw attention to himself, and while I can't blame Froch because it's his own career he's got to promote, I can definitely find fault in fans who use it as fodder to criticize Taylor.
