he'd beat duran at MW, who was never really a middleweight anyway

i say he would also take hearns, hagler and leonard all in close fights

          loses to only hagler.

Hmm, difficult to say. My first imprsseion is that he would beat Leonard and Duran. Duran just too small for Hopkins and by middle-weight he was also too old and slow. Leonard would also have trouble with the slickness of Hop and the size would be a big advantage on the inside for Hopkins.

The only one I can't figure is Hearns. I see Hagler winning, if we're talking prime Hagler of course. I could see Hearns using his long reach, super jab and left hooks very well, and I don't think Hopkins had the power to KO Hearns. Despite the amount of people that think Hearns' chin was dodgy he was only ever hurt by massive punchers or stamina issues, but this would be a twelve round fight. I don't know, I can't decide that one.

Agree not fully but I've alwayz said Hearns having a weak chin is a myth and people want to throw it around as a fact. Thomas Hearns is a GREAT boxer he can outbox his opponents and I feel he could have possibly beaten Hagler that wayyy and know he would have beaten SRL 1st fight if he'd just outbox.

There's not a one of those fights that Hopkins doesn't have good chances in. Quite a testament.

I agree, hearns gots more than a punchers chance because of his ability to box, but I think Hop gets by him as well.
