    Morel vs Penalosa

Hey guys, I've heard that puertorrican boxer Eric Morel is one of the candidates to fight Penalosa next after Juanma didn't agree...

What would you guys think of this fight? After seeing Morel's last fight I think he can win by decision... he put on a boxing display on the undercard of Calderon- Cazares II against Heriberto Ruiz winning by a UD in which he won at least 9 of the 12 rounds

Morel's record is 39-2-20KO he is still young only 33 years old so he could be a champion again, what do you guys think?

33 years is pretty old for that weight class. People start ending their careers at 30.

33 is not that old... there are a lot of guys out there that fight after 33... And Eric came out of jail like a year ago so he is determined to become champion once again and then retire...

It's old when you weigh 118 pounds. Not that many guys go past 30 at those weight classes. Daisuke Naito and Ivan Calderon are like the only 2 past 30 who are top 5.

Good. At least one Puerto Rican has the balls to come out against Gerry.

I like Morel but I think it would be a toss up fight. Morel in his prime would make me lean towards him but I do believe his age makes the fight more even. As for Juan Ma Vs. Penalosa..I think Juan will KO him within 6 rounds. The reason Juan Ma didnt take the fight was Penalosa wanted ridiculous money to get knocked out. But I guess I would want a big payday if I knew I was getting knocked out and my carreer would spiral downward afterward. I dont see how people think he is ducking Penalosa when he is calling out the best two in the division Vasquez and Marquez.
