    26 vs. 43...

That was a very very good fight last night. Even though it was one sided, it was still a great fight for both parties.

Pavlik lost. But it was a good loss to have.

Bernard Hopkins won. And he whooped on a promising up and comer that was 17 years younger than him.

The fight tested Pavlik. And the fight proved that Hokpins is a triple O.G. that can school the hell out of a younger promising fighter.

I think Pavlik might get a new coaching team since he's on the track to becoming a great fighter.

And Hopkins might even take the Roy Jones fight as his grand finale...but that's another story.

It tested Pavlik and it test Hopkins. If you noticed. Both fighters wanted to cry after the fight, because of all the emotions involved.

I myself thought that B-hop was on the down slope after giving a boring performance against Winky Wright, and dominating a once great fighter like Felix Trinidad, and then losing to a beatable Calzaghe.

This Pavlik fight was just to assure to the people that B-hop still has a little spring to his step.

If B-hop retires now he'll be respected. If B-hop fights RJJ, puts on a good show and then retires, he'll be respected.

Good for Hopkins...Good for Pavlik...Good for boxing overall.

For the people who aren't boxing into boxing, the Hopkins v. Pavlik was probably boring.

But that was a good fight for Pavlik. Now Pavlik can gauge where he is in the game and start preparing.

I think he's gonna lose Jack Loew and start training somewhere else. UNLESS...Jack Loew starts to mingle with the big time trainers and stuff. You guys know the politics.

I'm still down with Pavlik, but B-hop is still B-hop. Ya gotta respect B-hop.
