I think he was just having a bad night, he appeared to be flat and not as energetic as usual. He refered to "issues" in the post fight interview, then Loew cut in and stopped him from elaborating.

Bernard Hopkins is not the right man to be fighting if your mind is not 100% on the fight.

That is frigging ridiculous. Pavliks stunned and humiliated in the ring, saying I can't get to him. He's seen arguing with Nard, upset after the fight, frustrated and troubled by the loss after the fight, and the interview clearly shows all this.

Outrageous people would say this. Most people just can't get to Hopkins, it's a known fact.

I just signed on for the afternoon and was about to make a similar thread.

My conspiracy theory urges my brain into believing that Pavlik's poor showing was a result of fixed betting. The odds were overwhelmingly for Pavlik. Whoever bet on Hopkins lastnight made a ridiculous amount of money. Pavlik did not look himself at all.

This is bloody ridiculous. Tunney, you were backing Pavlik and respectfully said well done to Hopkins.

But when you say people are saying it, even on this site. Sorry dude but that's either a gross exaggeration or a down right lie. I've been on every thread and no ones really said this at all.

Not even 24 hours have passed and a minority few are trying to find holes in a legitimate win. Pavliks soul destroyed from this loss. Accept the result because this kinda talk is bull ****.

              Here's one example from here:

Talk about anything boxing related here. Where the boxing discussion is always Non Stop!

There's similar ones in ESB, BoxRec's "current scene", and elsewhere.

Pavlik is a hell of an actor if it was.

I've seen fixed fights and decisions and no, this was not fixed.

Just a great performance in which one fighter was completely shut out for 12 rounds. That's what many Hopkins fights look like.

No kidding, it would've been a hell of a lot easier to take a dive in the first few rounds that to sustain a beating for 12 and be made to look amateurish in the process.
