Hopkins fought an excellent fight, nobody can say he is a shot fighter. Great performance. Kelly Pavlik is still the king of Middleweight and is a worthy contender. Comparing Pavlik to a Sam Peter is ******. He just got beat fair and square by the better man, Hopkins was too good for Pavlik.

He has nothing else to prove now, he can retire as one of the greats of the sport and you can't really question him. Don't try and take this win away from him!

How is comparing pavlik to sam peter ****** when Sam Peter achieved more than Pavlik has achieved and yet they were both exposed as limited 1 dimensional club fighters when they fought a true legend

They said Pavlik only lost because Pavlik not used to the weight... I love the excuses people make. And I also love the douchebags who say that the hopkins who fought last night would beat calzaghe. Obviously, they don't realize styles make fights and that Calzaghes mobility and speed is what made Hopkins gas out.

my favorite excuse is that hopkins ran and held too much. wtf he threw more punches total and landed more punches total so how is he the one that ran? some said hopkins was in "survival mode" hahahaa...dumbasses don't know **** about boxing just because you're not 1 dimensional coming forward on rails club fighter like pavlik suddenly you're in 'survival mode' mother****ers need to learn someting about boxing
