Anyone who did not fight last night doesn't deserve any more of a 'boost' to their credibility than they had earlier in my opinion.

That includes Calzaghe, Kessler, Wright, Dawson, whoever.

About Wright, we will see if he ever decides to fight again. It seems like he has priced himself out of every possible match-up.

and the winky fight don't mean **** it's all about styles. Obviously winky is far greater than pavlik and will go down in history as being a true good boxer whereas pavlik will be forgotten like sam peter as just a club fighter but still winky got the style to take anyone to a close decision. prime hopkins would have ktfo him

Styles make fights. Winky's not a mover like Hopkins, he's a peek-a-boo fighter. I wouldn't want to be Winky with Pavlik pounding on my arms and gloves.

The blueprint against Pavlik is lateral movement and slick counterpunches inside and getting off first, though I don't know how many fighters will be able to replicate what Hopkins did at an elite level.
