Dawson got his ass kicked by Johnson.

I'm a hater, no doubt, but I honestly don't see what's so wrong with that post.

Do I honestly believe Slappy ducked Pavlik? Yes. He left Frank Warren to make a fight with Roy Jones, because it was an easier fight to have as his retirement one. In light of last night's performance, Slappy probably wishes he'd have fought Pavlik. But the simple fact is, IMHO, that he didn't want to fight Pav. I don't know how anyone can dispute that.

As for Slappy against Dawson, again, I genuinely don't see what's wrong with the notion that Dawson beats him convincingly. Slapstick has no power, so Chad propensity for getting hurt in fights won't be a question.

Chad is also quicker than Calsloogey, so that negates one of Pavducky's main strengths. And Dawson is a better fit at LHW.

So please explain how I was trolling in that post.

I'd hate to see Joe leave the sport not having one competitive fight in the US. He's fast i give him that and he has a good workrate. But why not fight someone who's also fast, has an equally good workrate and is younger as a goodbye fight? I swear i'll eat all the hate i have for Calzaghe if he fights Dawson, even if he loses he has my respect. You just can build a legacy fighting people who are as old as Jones and Hopkins! Specially if you have that many bums in your record.

It's too late in his career for Slappy to take any more risks. All Team Calspoogey is looking for now is making as much money as possible, while minimising the risk of losing his unbeaten record.

The crux of the issue is his unbeaten record. They're desperate for him to retire undefeated. I think if he'd tasted defeat earlier in his career, like lets say the Robin Reid fight, I think he'd have taken more risks in his fight selection.

No need for Joe to take this fight, proved everything he needs to prove. Haters will always find someone else (Pavlik, Dawson, Tarver, Taylor, etc). Joe's had a good career and has every right to end it with a pay day against RJJ.

                I don't get this logic.

Why are you advocating a fight purely for which the main purpose it for Sploogey to make some money, as opposed to a potentially great fight with Dawson?

It's this sort of warped thinking that's ****ing up boxing.
