    Pavlik vs Abraham

What an intriguing matchup. Hopkins made Pavlik look like an amateur but hey, Hopkins does that. Slipping, parrying and movement can leave a fighter like Pavlik open to counters. But sitting back on the ropes and covering up? Will Abraham's power see him through? Will Pavlik not let him off the ropes and not give him an opening for those big counters?

This fight should be made soon, I think it could be great and I'm not sure who I would pick.

I think I would maybe pick Pavlik but it's close to call. If Pavlik wins it's a decision. If Abraham wins it's a knockout.

I think Pavlik beats Abraham, styles make fights, Pavlik has the style to beat Abraham, Abraham isn't a mover, he keeps his hands up and walks forward or stays still, he doesn't move side to side or use footwork to move in and out of range like Hopkins or to a lesser extent Taylor. Standing right in front of Pavlik is not the way to fight him, Abraham is also not very active at middleweight and gives rounds away due to inactivity which would work to Pavlik's advantage. And that high guard may not work against Pavlik because I think Pavlik's punches could be strong and straight enough to bust through that guard.

Pavlik would have to watch out for the counter shots though because Abraham is powerful.

Seems like the momentum for this fight got stalled for a little while because of the one sided loss.

How about Kessler-Abraham at 168? It's obvious Abraham isn't long for the middleweight division.

That fight should do big business in Europa.

            i like abraham. tough sob.

            i'd pay $50 bucks for kelly-arthur.

            i didn't pay for bernard-kelly but i'd pay for kelly-arthur.

i think it'd be a great action fight.
