Hopkins is a great fighter but he still would not come close to a prime Marvin. I think Marvin would have stopped him in the mid rounds. I think Hagler was pretty close to unbeatable in his prime. Easily the best MW in history.

Hopkins would take Hagler to deep water and drown him. Hagler never faced anyone as wily and crafty and able to fight so dirty. Hopkins would frustrate Hagler and fight dirty as hell and throw him off his game and counter the **** outta him to a clear UD.

I know BHop's defence and chin are amazing but I still don't think he would go the distance with a prime Hagler at the top of his game. You seen many Marvin fights when he was at his best? He was insanely destructive. No disrepspect to Hopkins, he is a certified all time great fighter, one of the best p4p of the past couple of decades and the best MW of recent times but Marvin was just an animal in there. I don't see anyone lasting against a prime and focused Hagler.

no you dumb**** but other than Hearns, Hagler has barely any other names. He fought 2-3 great fighters and the rest b class bums no one's ever heard of. His resume isn't near Hopkins level. You obviously don't know **** if you think otherwise.
The only other great fighter he fought (Leonard) he got his ass wooped by an old ass 4 years inactive Leonard!!
