(when roy was on top) Hopkins wanted the rematch, roy didnt wanna give it to him cuz they couldnt agree on a purse

(after roy lost a cpl fights) Roy wanted the rematch with hopkins, but since he didnt give it to hopkins when he(bhop) wanted it back then, hopkins didnt want the rematch anymore (hopkins stated he not gonna let roy get a big pay day off of him now since he wouldnt give him the rematch then)


So here we are now, and roy has said numerous times he dont care under any circumstances a fight with bhop is out (because hopkins wouldnt give him the rematch, so now he like *** bhop ill climb back to the top witout him--and dont come to me with a rematch when i make it back to the top)


Interview for the Jones vs Calz fight a reporter asks roy if there would be any chance of a fight wit bhop roy says NO and gets up to leave the interview (2:25)

As a Jones/Hopkins fan. I wouldn't put it all on Roy for the rematch never coming off. I would say it was both their faults, B-Hop is hard to negoiate with aswell.

I think if Roy wins Nov. 8th, Roy will fight B-Hop. I know he said he wouldn't, but Roy says alot of things. You can't take everything Roy says literal...
