Hopkins as got one of the best, if not the best resumes in the history of boxing!

Not a big fan of his, but i can fault the bloke for what he has achieved!

thanks. yeah, its great to have great people to talk boxing with. I love being here in my spare time. I hope boxingscene never gets taken off the internet. I plan on watching boxing my whole life, and coming on here to discuss it. Its alot of fun.

I thought you kind of disliked Roy, I guess I was wrong. Don't think for a minute that I don't like B-Hop when I rate Roy over him. I own allot of his fights and have his 20th title poster on my wall. Hopkins is my second favorite ever. As long as I'm alive, I won't forget B-Hop's historic career.
No way man, I love Roy. It's just got that Ali/Frazier feeling for me, only not as ugly because Roy actually respects Bernard. Where as Ali just **** all over Joe anytime he had the chance. I'm much more personal about Frazier than I am Hopkins, especially when Muhammad's name comes up.

But I love and respect Ali too, I'll weep like a child when he dies. I just think he didn't do right by Joe, and I don't think anybody can blame Joe for still being bitter about it.

Back to Roy though, Roy is king. Personally I think Hopkins bests him legacy wise, but prime for prime I think Roy is the better man. I'm content enough to know that Hopkins has finally gotten the respect he deserves once and for all.

I remember when he schooled Tarver, all the love that was thrown his way by HBO, the fans here on boxingscene, etc.... Then he doesn't look as great against Winky, and drops a SD to Calzaghe and everybody **** on him pretty much. Boxing fans here are two faced 9 times out of 10.

Roy's got nothing to be ashamed of, Calzaghe will never be able to carry a prime Roy's jock strap, and history will show this. Joe ain't winning no Heavyweight crown anytime soon.

            Agreed.

I have no idea who that guy was that did ***** on here. He had me in stitches forever though. Now would be the perfect time to bring him back since Barack won the Election by a landslide though.

My favorite Hopkins fights are: Joe Lipsey, Glen Johnson, Felix Trinidad, and Antonio Tarver.

The fight with Echols was great though. Bernard showed a lot of versatility in that fight, and Echols is pretty underrated. Hopkins himself has gone on record saying that was his toughest fight in his own opinion.

Too bad I don't know who your favorite fighter is so that I could make a video that makes him look bad as well.
