i know that styles makes fights, but what if b-hop beats pavlik, what does it say about calzaghe? does a pavlik and calzaghe fight matter? just asking.

It would help Hopkins' legacy and would make Calzaghe's win over him look better, it wouldn't matter so much anymore, Calzaghe-Dawson would take precedence I think.

while pavlik will be left out, but he still has abraham next if he cant get calzaghe. and that's not bad either. the only thing i know is there are lots of fights to be made after this fight, depending on who wins.

It would boost Hopkins' legacy a lot. It basically avenges the 2 split decision losses to Taylor, and one ups Calzaghe for ducking Pavlik to fight Jones.
