De La Hoya is really putting his own career over anyone of the fighters he promotes, he takes the fighter JMM wants then turns around and takes his trainer too, bad business to be a promoter and a active fighter it seems like. Hard to look out for your fighters best intrest in their careers when your more worried about your own.

Well, he DID say that fighters come first at Golden Boy. But he DIDN'T say which ones. Obviously, the one that takes priority is the one who has his name on the company label (who also happens to make the most money to help satisfy his bitches... woof woof!).

Diaz-Marquez would be a ****** idea from GBP, they putting their two best fighters together and the loser will have a hard time to come back up, just set up Marquez-Campbell, JMM will give him a boxing lesson and KO his ass like Peden did..

Marquez-Diaz would be an awesome fight. I feel for Nate Campbell, the guy is no spring chicken and has earned the right to fight the big boys, so it sucks hes being shut out to some extent.
Juan is, IMO, still one of the elite LWs in the world and at his age he still has what it takes to be THE man in the division, Marquez is a great fight for him to try to prove that. On the flip side, if Marquez can beat Diaz he proves that he can do more that lose close decisions to Pac and beat up aged fighters.
Two awesome guys, Id love to see them do it.

I dont think its a good idea for Diaz to step down in competition. Sure he lost to Campbell, but thats his sole lose, aside from that he has been fighting at a high level for years, and he looked awesome in his latest performance against Katsidis. Juan doesnt need any tune ups or easy fights, he should be ****ing with the big boys.
